We are delighted that you are interested in Museum Park Orientalis. Did you know that Orientalis is the oldest open-air museum in the Netherlands? For over a hundred years, visitors have been experiencing special moments here. Moreover, the unique combination of landscape and rich history contributes to a connection between different philosophies of life and religions.

As far as we are concerned, Museumpark Orientalis will continue to inspire and connect people for another hundred years. However, we cannot do this alone. In addition to our visitors, we also need structural support to preserve the museum park and to realize new plans. And benefits to that as well, such as a whole year of free admission to our Museumpark!

Development

Museum Park Oorientalis is well on its way to becoming a place for the modern pilgrim. We strive to improve the landscape quality and supplement the surroundings with additional walking routes and nature trails. We bring art into the landscape and offer interesting exhibitions annually. Who knows, soon you might even be able to stay overnight at the cultural park!

Perhaps you already knew: unlike almost every other museum, Orientalis receives hardly any structural government funding. To realize our plans in the coming years, we desperately need the support of Friends and Founders who support us with a monthly or annual contribution.

Supporting Friends with a recurring donation makes a big impact in the long term. What helps even more is that every euro our Friends contribute is doubled by the Municipality of Berg en Dal! And it works. The new silence path, for example, was constructed with the help of our Friends, and we are grateful to them for that. We are therefore happy to give something back to our Friends.
