Romans plant plants
The Romans, conquerors of the Roman Empire, were in charge of the Netherlands for about 400 years at the beginning of our era.
They were quite modern and brought inventions such as money, the calendar, and the alphabet.
In addition to these inventions, they brought quite a few plants and trees to our country. Sometimes by accident—seeds came along in shoes or vehicles—but mostly because they needed them for food.
This scavenger hunt is about these Roman plants and trees.
