You can enjoy a lovely walk with your dog at Museumpark Orientalis! You are welcome to come with your four-legged friend. Dogs are generally allowed in the main building and the outdoor area of the museum park, provided they are kept on a leash. However, dogs are not allowed in the Roman Street or in the indoor areas of the Jewish and Arab villages.
Having trouble walking?
The Museum Park is situated in a hilly forest landscape and the distances are long. For people with reduced mobility, an electric shuttle bus runs every day until 17:00 PM . Foldable wheelchairs and walkers can be taken along on the back of the bus. Wheelchairs are also available for loan, both with narrow and extra-wide tires. There are no costs associated with the use of the wheelchair or the shuttle bus.
For wheelchairs, it is advisable to contact the Museumpark in advance via info@museumparkorientalis.nl or 024-3823110 to ensure that you can use these facilities during your visit. For the shuttle bus, it is not necessary to contact them in advance.
Food & Drinks
During our opening hours, visitors can go to various locations for something tasty to eat and/or drink. You can visit the Zendo on Fridays and Saturdays. You are welcome at the Roman Inn on virtually every day we are open, but please check the opening hours for exceptions beforehand. You can find the Roman Inn menu here and the drinks menu here.
Please note: On Friday, June 26, the Museum Park will remain closed to visitors and groups as a precaution due to the predicted heat.

Plan your visit via the route plannerIt is best to enter 'Museumpark Orientalis' as the final destination instead of the address.
PLEASE NOTE: the Groesbeekseweg is temporarily partially closed; you are being diverted.
Museumpark Orientalis has its own car park, located opposite the main entrance. Parking tokens cost €7,50 and can be purchased at the ticket office or online. There is no charging station for electric cars available.
By bike
Plan your visit via the route plannerMuseumpark Orientalis is about a 15-minute bike ride from Nijmegen city centre. You can park your bike in the bicycle parking area next to the main entrance.
By public transport from Nijmegen Station
Plan your visit via the route plannerCity bus 5 departs for Groesbeek approximately every 10 minutes. Please note! Times and frequencies may vary around weekends and during holidays. Get off at the Sionsweg stop. From there, it is about a 5-minute walk to the main entrance of the Museumpark. Walk towards the roundabout and turn left. You will see the Museumpark at the end of the street.
Cemetery Park and Cenacle Church
Next to Museumpark Orientalis lie the Heilig Landstichting Cemetery Park and the Cenakel Church . These are certainly worth a visit before or after a visit to the Museumpark.
