Welcome the ppilgrims of the Peacewalk

On Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3, 2026, the international Peacewalk will pass through our region. On Saturday, May 2, the pilgrims will arrive at Museumpark Orientalis from Arnhem. To mark their arrival, a special and connecting program is being organized at Museumpark Orientalis.

Meeting around peace
On Saturday, May 2, we will meet at the World Peace Flame Nijmegen. From there, we will walk together to Museumpark Orientalis, where there is space for meeting and connection. Visitors and pilgrims are welcome to join a simple communal meal and dialogues on peace. On Sunday, May 3, they will continue their journey towards Germany. The participants will spend the night in Heilig Landstichting.

• Words of welcome by Museumpark Orientalis, Working Group Peace for Berg en Dal and Peacewalk Nijmegen

6:00 PM – Meal

• Hot meal for registered participants
• In the Roman Street: eating together with food brought from home

Location: Square next to Roman street / intermediate terrace Sharing from the heart about what touches you within the theme of peace. Everyone can participate; just listening is also valuable. (max. 15 participants)
