Monument Route
Heilig Landstichting occupies a unique place in Dutch cultural and architectural history. This is the reason why, in 2003, no fewer than 29 structures in the surrounding area were designated as national monuments. Ten of these can be found within the gates of the museum park. In addition, there is another monument with special status , namely the Roman aqueduct, which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The devotional park and the buildings designed in the Oriental architectural style, together with the layout of the grounds, possess a high rarity value. In addition, the museum park has cultural-historical value as a special expression of the Roman Catholic emancipation movement and the rich Catholic life that stemmed from it.
A special map with information about the monuments in the museum park is available at the ticket counter.
