Group outings
Museum Park Orientalis is a perfect location for an outing with friends, family, or colleagues. The park offers plenty of space for fun outdoor group activities. Children can romp around or experience adventures together.
Our park is also perfectly suited for a company outing or a strategy session. Furthermore, we have a beautiful presentation room available for this purpose. We have put together a number of packages specifically for groups, but we can also create custom packages upon request.

By Sun Train through Museum Park Orientalis
A special experience on the Sun Train. On this tour, we travel from Nijmegen via the Holy Land Foundation to Museum Park Orientalis, where we drive through the museum park. In the park, we visit three villages: the Jewish, the Arab, and the Roman village. During this tour, the story of the origins of the Holy Land Foundation is told, along with the background of various religions and the history of the Romans.
After visiting the Museum Park, we drive on to the adjacent Cenakel Church. Here, the group is given a guided tour of the unique church, featuring beautiful mosaics, murals, and distinctive architecture.

Are you looking for an active day with your friends, family, or colleagues, where limits are pushed in a fun way? Then you have come to the right place at Quest Events . Quest offers adventurous activities for participants of every generation.
Since 2022, Quest Events has been located on the grounds of Museumpark Orientalis. Would you like to go archery, tree climbing, or abseiling in the museum park? That is all possible here! Dynamic indoor and outdoor activities are organized from the Sanhedrin in the Roman Street for both large and small groups.

Fresco workshop
Frescoes have a worldwide, centuries-old tradition. The craft involves a combination of plasterwork and painting, and has never fundamentally changed since classical antiquity. Participants in the workshop learn the fresco technique from A to Z. At the end of the day, the fresco can be taken home.
You do not need to have prior painting experience for this workshop. Creating a fresco is largely artisanal work, which makes it very accessible.

Roman mosaic workshop
In this workshop, each participant creates a Roman mosaic of approximately 10 x 10 cm using colored stones. The stones are glued onto a marble base. You will learn the characteristics of mosaic technique and lay the stones according to specific guidelines. The image you create in your own mosaic is part of a Roman border, a knot, or an existing image. By the end of this workshop, your mosaic will look as if it is two thousand years old!
